Roll #59

This roll is the first of four rolls shot (mostly) in Kyoto, Japan:

Kodomonokuni (Children’s World) in Ota, Japan.

Amy during the snowstorm.

Mmmm shabu-shabu!

Woman in her yukata (a lighter summer kimono).

Ryoan-ji rock garden in Kyoto, Japan.

Chinatown in Chukagai, Yokohama.

Jackets.

Our favorite part of Tokyo.

Ebisu, Japan.

Amy at the purification font in Kyoto, Japan.

Fushimi Inari, Kyoto, Japan.

Gion, Kyoto, Japan.

We were too early for the cherry blossoms but we at least had some plum trees.

Sagano bamboo forest, Kyoto, Japan.

I shot this roll and the next roll to be posted at the same time on two cameras so that I wouldn’t need to switch lenses. Most of this roll was shot on my 50mm and most of roll #60 was shot on my 20mm wide angle. It was nice to be able to pick up and shoot without constantly changing lenses but you lose chronological order which is a bigger pain to sort out during post-processing.
